Kai Lamottke is co-founder of Bicoll GmbH, Munich where he holds a position as Managing Director. Since 2001 he is also appointed as General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Bicoll Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.. In his position Dr. Lamottke is responsible for initial client and partnership contacts.
Prior to joining Bicoll he was working for the rational drug discovery company, 4SC AG, establishing the combinatorial chemistry division as project leader.
Dr. Lamottke received his Ph.D.-grade from the University of Munich working on the total synthesis and biosynthesis of medical relevant natural active agents.
Christian Haug is co-founder of Bicoll GmbH, Munich and Managing Director since May 2002. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bicoll Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.. Within Bicoll Dr. Haug is responsible for technical and scientific steering of R&D collaborations, internal organisation, and operational controlling. Furthermore he is co-inventor of Bicoll's core technologies in discovering new lead structures.
Prior to joining Bicoll Dr. Haug accomplished his post-doctoral research work at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, and a research visit at Central Research, Bayer AG, Leverkusen.
His Ph.D. - and diploma-grade Dr. Haug received from the University of Munich, where he carried out synthesis of novel amino acids and unusual peptides with Prof. W. Steglich.
Yang Ye is co-founder of Bicoll GmbH, Munich. In 2001 he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Bicoll Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd..
Dr. Ye also holds a position as professor of State Key Laboratory of Drug Research, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a member of Bicoll's Board of Directors in Shanghai he provides input in special academia related topics.
He gained international experiences in this specific field with the Bayer Central Research Department, Leverkusen, Germany and his postdoctoral position at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, University of Munich, Germany. Prof. Ye finished his Ph. D. degree in Chemistry at SIMM specializing in natural products chemistry in 1992. His research led to several publications in international media.
Nicole Feling joined Bicoll GmbH, Munich and Bicoll Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. as Public Relations Manager in September 2001. Dr. Feling has a profound scientific background which she combines with her understanding in the field of public relations. She received her Ph.D. and diploma in chemistry at the University of Munich working on isolation, identification and elucidation of medical relevant natural active agents and gained special insights in the US-American press market during a 1½ years stay in San Diego, California.
